Vehicles Tested: A – All Vehicles and Trailers (PSV GV TRLs)
Site access notes: All vehicles meeting current health and safety requirements can be tested on site. Vehicles laden with Diesel Gas Oil Kerosene LPG and other compressed/liquefied gasses within a sealed vessel. Also any substances below 61 degrees centigrade including Bitumen. ADR can be tested at this site. Tests may not currently be carried out under the Motor Cycles Etc. (Single Vehicle Approval) Regulations 2003 and the Road Vehicles (Approval) Regulations 2009. No Dangerous Goods Vehicles. There are contingency RBT and Headlamp facilities on site. Rear steer Vehicles and Trailers will need reversing in to test rear steered axle. Lorries and buses (including coaches) must be tested each year. The first test should be 12 months after the vehicle was first registered with DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency).

Trailers must be tested one year after they were first sold or supplied.

The test can be done at a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) test station or a privately owned Authorised Testing Facility (ATF). Both use DVSA staff and the same test standards.
